The Sonisphere Festival will take place in Knebworth on 1 and 2 August 2009. There are last minute lineup changes but looking good for Sonisphere 2009 are Metallica, Linkin Park, Nine Inch Nails, Limp 
Bizkit and with the disappointment of Machine Head pulling out, the veterans Saxon are late joiners, along with Alien Ant Farm. Also watch out for Avenged Sevenfold (with the incredible Synyster Gates on guitar, Heaven and Hell (the Sabbath boys) with Tony Iommi (Godfather of Metal (TM)), Thunder, Lamb of God and Mastodon all doing their best to melt your ears with their blistering sound.
