It’s U2 Tuesday here in Glasgow because…

… Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen AKA U2 are in town to rock Hampden Park as part of their 360° Tour!  News reports that a few hundred thousand U2, Glasgow Celtic FC and Arsenal FC fans will descend upon Glasgow city centre this evening are terrifying commuters, not to mention many Glasgow Rangers fans.  Just to clarify, the footy fans are there to play their Champions League match at Celtic Park, rather than to take in the U2 gig.

Anyway I’m sure the gig will be great and for those heading along, have a blast – don’t forget that there is a free bus service between Buchanan Street and Queens Drive (Hampden).  Watch out for drunk footy fans!  I’ll post a few of the better YouTube vids after the gig, so watch this space. In the meantime check out this great vid showing the build up to and footage from the opening night of the tour in Barcelona:
