So while sleeping off the effects of the nasty, evil winter vomiting virus, I missed a couple of things of note…
1) Zakk Wylde had a health scare… an apparent blood clot. The Black Label Society dude was carted off in an ambulance when he became ill after a gig in Montana on 19th August (hey I know that was almost a week ago, but it was news to me). He released a pic of himself in his hospital bed on Twitter. Rock on stockings on!
2) Joey Jordison, drummer with Slipknot has contracted an “unpecified illness” and the band were forced to cancel two dates: Seattle on Saturday (the KISW Pain in the Grass event) just before things were about to kick off and Washington last night. Fans are advised that the dates will be re-scheduled so watch this space.
