Aerosmith Searching for Temp to Fill Tyler’s Shoes

So the Aerosmith lads are reported to be on the lookout for a temporary (? – don’t ask) frontman to fill in for Steve Tyler who is having foot and leg surgery (I wonder if I heard that right).    This news follows a recent report (see Aerosmith story on Rock Radio) that Joe Perry and co were actively trying to replace him anyway.  Tyler has on several occasions stated that he will continue to work with the band as soon as he’s straightened out and even recently joined Joe Perry onstage with his sideproject the Joe Perry Project.
