AC/DC Rocked Glasgow Last Night – but who’s next to hit Scotland’s National Stadium?
Posted on July 1st, 2009 No commentsAC/DC put on an unbelievable show at Hampden Stadium in Glasgow last night completing the European stage of their Black Ice Tour. If the band are, as it seems every other article points out, aging… it didn’t show last night. The capacity crowd were treated to a 2 hour+ set starting off with the Rock n’ Roll train arriving on stage! The band were up to their usual antics with the giant inflatable woman riding the train to a Whole Lot of Rosie, dwarfing Angus and Malcolm Young, Brian Johnson and the boys.
Hampden is an amazing venue for rock bands with an atmosphere second to none. Forthcoming acts include Eagles (4 July 2009), Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Coldplay.
