AC/DC movie Let There Be Rock with late Bon Scott on vocals to be released on DVD early 2011
Posted on March 26th, 2010 No commentsLet There Be Rock, an AC/DC film, will be released on DVD in the first half of 2011. Let there Be Rock was filmed in December 1979 (when Bon Scott was still AC/DC vocalist – just 2 months prior to his untimely death at the age of 33) at the Pavillion de Paris.
Bonus material will be included on the Let There Be Rock DVD although details of this haven’t been announced yet.
Thanks to Classic Rock Magazine for this story. Check out www.ACDC.com for more info.

Zakk Wylde wants to interview the Queen – Classic Rock Magazine News
Posted on February 27th, 2010 No comments- Image via Wikipedia
Zakk Wylde, the scarey murrafurra guitarist from Black Label Society (and former long-term guitarist with Ozzy Osbourne) has confessed in an interview with Classic Rock Magazine’s Malcolm Dome that he would like to blag his way into an interview with the Queen, Borat- or Bruno-style where his first question would be rather personal… (see the Classic Rock Story here to find out). I wonder what the answer would be.

Aerosmith are the latest addition to Download 2010 Lineup – with Steve Tyler resuming post as frontman
Posted on February 16th, 2010 No comments- Image via Wikipedia
Latest news from Download is that Aerosmith will be appearing at Download Festival 2010 and, get this… Steve Tyler will be frontman once more. The troubled vocalist seems to be on the mend and hopefully the band can put their recent troubles behind them. The public spat between Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry led to massive speculation amongst the media and the blogosphere about who would replace Tyler (Chris Cornell, Billy Idol, Sammy Hagar, Paul Rodgers) and whether or not Aerosmith without Tyler would actually even BE Aerosmith (it wouldn’t – much as I rate the rest of the band). According to this Classic Rock Magazine story, Download organisers have booked Aerosmith with the condition that Tyler is frontman once more. Hurrah for Download again!
In other news, Rage Against the Machine will also join the lineup, which includes headliners AC/DC returning for the 30th Anniversary of their Monsters of Rock appearance. AC/DC have apparently announced that they will appear on the Friday evening and so RATM will probably appear on Saturday with Aerosmith closing the festival on the Sunday evening (Download 2010 runs from 11-13 June 2010).
