And the latest guitarist to join the lineup of real-life guitarists in Guitar Hero (5) is…
Posted on July 21st, 2009 1 comment… none other than Carlos Santana. The veteran guitarist Santana, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998, will star as a playable character in Guitar Hero 5 and the Guitar Hero 5 game features the Santana classic track “Noone To Depend On.” Guitar Hero 5 will also feature songs from artists including Bob Dylan, Iron Maiden, Rammstein, Iggy Pop, Jeff Beck, Johnny Cash, Megadeth, Mötley Crüe, Queens of the Stone Age, and the White Stripes (Blimey! Do you think Jack White knows?).
Carlos Santana is a well respected guitarist with numerous Grammy awards under his belt (a total or 8 Grammys, I believe) and has had several interesting musical collaborations with the likes of Michael Jackson on the track “Whatever Happens.”
