Death of Rolling Stones founding member Brian Jones: evidence to be re-examined…
Posted on August 31st, 2009 No commentsBrian Jones is a founder member and guitarist of the Rolling Stones who was found dead at the bottom of a swimming pool in East-Sussex back in the summer of 1969. The BBC reports that the original inquest returned a verdict of “death by misadventure” but new evidence relating to the stars death is now in the hands of Sussex Police. There has been much controversy surrounding the death of Jones, who was 27 with many claims that the guitarist was in fact murdered although some reports state that the Rolling Stones guitarist was heavily dependent on drugs and alcohol, backed up by post-mortem reports that allegedly state that Jones’ heart and liver were enlarged, consistent with drugs and alcohol abuse.
I’ll update this story as more information is released so watch this space.
